O melhor curso na melhor universidade para você

Launched in 2004 as the brainchild of the editor-in-chief of Autocar Steve Cropley â?? who remains closely involved as a visiting professor â?? this course has enabled dozens of graduates to achieve their dream of a job in automotive journalism or the automotive industry. Content is guided by the professional journalism bodies, The Periodicals Training Council (PTC), Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC) and National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ), as well as being officially endorsed by the Guild of Motoring Writers. We cover journalism theory, law and ethics, together with the practical techniques of research, interviewing, writing, page layout and audio/video production. You will have opportunities to work on â??liveâ?? projects â?? previous students covered the Geneva motor show online, for example, and have produced a radio magazine programme broadcast across the campus. You should also develop your knowledge of the automotive industry â?? the challenges and opportunities it faces â?? with the chance to hear direct from our automotive design lecturers and industry practitioners. Visiting speakers have included motor racing commentator Murray Walker, racing driver Karun Chandhok, CAR magazine columnist Gavin Green, CAR staff writer James Taylor (a graduate of this course), former Top Gear presenter Sue Baker and other automotive media experts. You can also attend lectures by automotive designers and other industry figures organised within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Past students on this course have been winners in the Guild of Motoring Writersâ?? Sir William Lyons, Phil Llewellin and Commercial Vehicle Writer of the Year awards. Each year, the Midland Group of Motoring Writers presents its John Connor Award, consisting of a framed certificate and cash award, for the best final project on the course. Our students can also apply for the Kevin Ash Scholarship, a memorial to a one of the motorcycling worldâ??s most highly respected journalists, who died in an accident in 2013. This scholarship offers a Â?1,500 bursary and a programme of motorcycle-related work experience in association with the Motorcycle Industry Association. Key course benefits;
