Delivered in association with internationally renowned theatre company Frantic Assembly, this Masterâ??s degree provides a unique opportunity to develop collaborative theatre making skills relevant to professional level contemporary theatre across Europe, Australia, North America and Asia. Teaching is split between the Coventry campus and professional studios and theatres in London. You will get the chance to participate in intensive practical performance projects with Frantic Assembly and study with some of the most talented professionals in the field. This includes Frantic Assemblyâ??s Artistic Director and co-founder Scott Graham whose award-winning career includes an Olivier and Tony Award nomination for Best Choreography. At the same time, research events and seminars with leading academics and industry professionals involved in production, project management and funding will broaden your knowledge. As well as nurturing your artistic development through live briefs and placement opportunities, we will teach you essential skills to support devising, funding, managing and evaluating artistic projects. With a proven record in creating, co-producing, co-creating and touring new work extensively across the UK and in 40 countries internationally, Frantic Assembly has been impacting theatrical practice and training future theatre-makers for over 20 years. The highly-acclaimed company was responsible for movement direction on the award-winning National Theatre of Great Britain production â??The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Timeâ?? and the BAFTA nominated British/American TV series â??Humansâ??.
